My husband and I had a great time, we where pleasantly suprised when we walked in the lobby, staff is very friendly and helpfull, very clean,lots of entertainment, food was better then expected and lots of choices, we would definetly go back. The only thing different in pamphlet you only get one big bottle of water when you get there in your room but can get refills at the bar anytime. 30 second walk to the beach, weather was always between 20 and 28 perfect for us. the beach was wonderfull.

The Park View Hotel is located where all the action is in Central & Old Havana. It is not far by taxi to New Havana. The staff are experienced, friendly and accommodating.The room was clean but hot water was an issue. Great little bar open 24 hours in the lobby. The price relative to other nearby hotels was very reasonable. The food located on the top floor restaurant with a view was cheap & good. The security was second to none with friendly knowledgeable security staff. A few security staff recognized me from a previous stay at a more expensive hotel in the area. I plan to stay at the Park View during my next trip to Havana.

For anyone that will be visiting the beautiful country of Cuba, the Hotel Occidental Miramar is one of the great symbols of the Cuban tourist industry. Great location, service, care and facilities, with great staff management and lots of services available. Two years ago I went to this hotel as part of a delegation from Venezuela to participate at the University 2008 conference and my friends and I were lucky to have stayed at this elegant hotel. I came across this page today, and just had to express my opinion on this great hotel. In conclusion, anyone who stays at this hotel will never forget their experience, just like they will never forget Cuba. Congratulations, I hope to come back soon!

Beautiful beach, very friendly and helpful staff, very clean and great food!! Never seemed like there were many people around, even on the one day it rained. There are lots of facilities within the main building to occupy time when weather is poor. A fantastic place - voltage in the hotel is 220v, so take your voltage adapter - otherwise...awesome place.

A beautiful little hotel right on the edge of Habana viejo. We stayed in a suite which had fourteen foot ceilings, 12 ft high doors, just a beautul reminder of the former glory years. GREAT staff, very very clean, close all the sink/tub/etc plugs at night to stop sewer smell backup at night.

I really feel in love with this hotel. the staff was very nice and helpful and I felt as if I were in my one home. I would love to go back to Cuba again and when I do I will certainly come back to this hotel

I never got the chance to write about my vacation to Cuba back in March of 2006. I was incredible, both the hotel and the staff were awesome. Everything was perfect, the white sand beaches, delicious food, great care from the staff and the entertainment group, very clean, comfortable, great shows, dancing, all in all UNBEATABLE. The only complaint I have is that the postcards we sent from the hotel never arrived to our family members back home, I really don\t know whose fault this was. I recommend this hotel for families with kids, it is very safe and relaxed...I hope I will be able to bring my kids here one day.

Hi how is everyone? I have been to Cuba twice and I never will tire of going...Fate brought me to this hotel and I was surprised by the hotel's samrt and good taste and their highly professional staff. Especially the crew that was in charge of restoration and the cafeteria staff. They were very competent and professional and well versed in tourism services, the waiters were also great, I give everyone here thumbs up!
