The Palacio O'Farill’s used to be the residence of Don Ricardo O’Farrill who made his fortune from the slave trade and by operating various sugar mills. Future generations diverged into more noble aspects of Cuban society and left their architectural mark on the building that now houses one of Old Havana’s most popular hotels. The three floors of Palacio O’Farill all have their different architectural styles, which add to the hotel’s extraordinary charm.
