Moka's design is based on a contemporary interpretation of Spanish colonial architecture, and features a splendid multi-tiered atrium lobby built around a large lime tree (the branches magically disappear through the skylight). The two-story units have magnificent red-barked trees growing through the balconies and ceiling.
Complejo Turistico Las Terrazas is located in an area of around 5,000 hectares, in which a project of sustainable rural economy is being developed, based on the rational use of its natural resources for tourism. The buildings of Las Terrazas Community have been designed to blend with their surroundings.

Each room has floor-to-ceiling glass windows and a French door leading onto a spacious terra-cotta-tiled balcony with tables, reclining chairs, and a to-die-for view through the trees, to the lake. The bathroom is as romantic as can be with a big tub at the base of an enormous window looking out at the woods, making you feel as if you are bathing in a stream. It is doubtful that you have ever slept so close to the wilderness in such great comfort.
